The Futility of Worry

Corrie ten Boom knew more than a little about hardship and tribulations. She spent time in a German concentration camp living under harsh conditions. Later she traveled the world sharing not so much her experiences as the hope she found in Christ. She had this gem to share about the useless nature of worry.

“Worrying is carrying tomorrow’s load with today’s strength-carrying two days at once. It is moving into tomorrow ahead of time. Worrying does not empty tomorrow of its sorrow; it empties today of its strength.” Corrie ten Boom
